Style Guide

At SliceOfDev, we value high-quality content that is both informative and engaging for our readers. To ensure that all articles meet our standards, we’ve created the following style guide for writers to follow when submitting their work:

Headings and Sub-Headings:

• Use the main heading for every heading other than the title.
• Use the subheading for major subheadings.

Images:

• All images must be high-quality and relevant to the content of the article.
• All the images should either belong to you or mention the respective artist/author to avoid copyright infringements (You can otherwise use Unsplash images if not sure).

Code Blocks:

• Use code blocks for any code snippets that are longer than a single line.
• Use the correct programming language for syntax highlighting.
• Make sure the code is easily readable and follows standard conventions.
• Indicate any assumptions or requirements for the code to work as expected.

Writing Style:

• Use a conversational tone that is engaging and easy to read.
• Write in short paragraphs and use bullet points where appropriate.
• Use active voice and avoid passive voice as much as possible.
• Avoid jargon and technical terms that may not be familiar to all readers.
• Write with a clear purpose and provide useful information for readers.
